Are you passionate about sustainability? Do you want to complement your engineering or science education with learning to eco-manufacture materials more sustainably using bacteria or biological processes? Applications are now open for the first class of Montana State University ‘Eco-Start’ research interns. We are hiring 3-5 students (priority: freshmen and sophomores) to join a multi-year cohort program. During the year, you will gain research experience through paid research internships in MSU Center for Biofilm Engineering (CBE) faculty labs. During the summer, you will work in paid internships in either CBE or external industry labs. Please note that Eco-Start is a multi-year program with the goal of generating graduates with exceptional preparation to participate in research careers or graduate school related to eco-manufacturing. Students are expected to commit to the program through their graduation.

Applications are due 11/15. For more information, please contact Dr. Chelsea Heveran (chelsea.heveran@montana.edu).
