Elinor Pulcini is an assistant research professor at the Center for Biofilm Engineering and an instructor with MSU’s Master's in Science Education Program. Prior to joining the CBE, she was a high school science teacher in California and Montana. Elinor is the manager of the CBE’s Medical Biofilm Laboratory (MBL), a research and teaching laboratory. The MBL is primarily supported by industrially-funded projects, which include the evaluation of medical devices and tissue samples for the presence of biofilms, testing of biofilm control strategies, and the examination of the role of biofilms in chronic wounds.
